By taking Metro Line 2 and getting off at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, you will find the grand Oriental Art Center a five-minute-walk away, right beside Century Park.

good place for classical music. The performances there are always good, but you should take a good seat, not at the side or at the back of the platform. And the stereo of opera hall is horrible.....

I attended a classical music performance by the Belgium Orchestra at the Oriental Art center and greatly enjoyed the 3 hour performance. I sat at Section G, a circle seat, with a clear view of the stage and crystal clear sound system. The only unfortunate thing is that the piano and pianist was at turned to the other side, so I could not see the finger- work of the painist.
