Gidon Kremer has followed an unconventional career path, in which he has established a worldwide reputation as one of the most original and compelling violinists of his generation. Founded by him in 1997, the accompanying 28-member Kremerata Balitica chamber orchestra is considered one of the most prominent in Europe.
